Composition

Setyr Rods® uses the best graphite available for the rods intended application. Graphite is an evolutionary material, which, in conjunction with our designer and graphite manufacturer, allows us to create the finest blanks available. It’s not necessarily the composite you use; it’s how you use the composite.

Components

Setyr Rods uses Forecast® components from Batson Enterprises®. The design of Batson’s Forecast® components represents the culmination of ideas that come from more than 50 years of rod manufacturing and custom rod building experience. No corners cut here, just honest quality and attention to detail that allow Batson Components to excel in quality, performance and value.

Design

Our rods are crafted with naked, finely sanded, graphite blanks. Setyr Rods® use garnet thread wraps with fine silver accents. Our rod guides have a bright Titanium Hydrogenated gray coating and Zirconium rings. Setyr has created what we believe to be the best combination of graphite blanks, Titanium Guides, reel seats and handles available.
